Printing

Use the latest version of Chrome or Edge browser for best results. To print an entire guide or issue page, use the Download PDF button. To print a single chapter of a guide, use your browser's print page function: Ctrl + P on Windows or Command + P on macOS.

PDF Documents

Use Adobe Acrobat Reader or another PDF reader to open or download Washington Law Help PDF documents. 

Word Documents

To preserve document formatting, use Microsoft Word or the free LibreOffice to open Washington Law Help Word documents.

Search Form Library

Basic Boolean Search:

  • AND: Use this to find results that include all the specified terms. For example, searching for cats AND dogs will show results that contain both "cats" and "dogs"
  • OR: Use this to find results that include any of the specified terms. For example, searching for cats OR dogs will show results that contain either "cats" or "dogs"
  • NOT: Use this to exclude results that contain a specific term. For example, searching for cats NOT dogs will show results that contain "cats" but not "dogs"
